Skilled nursing, extended care and rehabilitation offer specific services. Here are answers to commonly asked questions. If you need further assistance, please contact us.
- For short-term rehabilitation, bring comfortable clothes such as soft pants with an elastic waist, T-shirts and sturdy, rubber-soled shoes. Pack enough pants, shirts, socks and underwear, and favorite toiletries to last seven days, electronic devices and chargers. Bring glasses, hearing aids or dentures, if applicable.
- For hospice patients, your comfort is the priority. Pack a favorite blanket or cozy throw, familiar photos, electronic devices and comfortable clothing. Bring glasses, hearing aids or dentures, if applicable. Toiletries are provided.
- For extended care, a favorite blanket or bedspread can feel more like home. Pack seasonally appropriate clothing and footwear. Bring electronic devices and chargers and glasses, hearing aids and dentures, if applicable. Toiletries are provided but pack preferred ones if needed.

We offer high-quality meals, drinks and snacks with variety and personal service. Our food quality, sanitation, nutritional values and menus are overseen by a registered dietitian team. We offer feeding assistance services, personal ordering in the dining room, in-room ordering from anytime menus and treats for special occasions.
The medical director at each community will be your attending physician. The attending physician at West Hills and Island Home is Dr. Deaver Shattuck and at Beverly Park Place, Dr. Carla Gillespie. Both doctors and a team of nurse practitioners see patients to meet acute and long-term care needs.
Medications typically are provided by the facility with some exceptions. Please contact us for more information.
We encourage pet visits. Veterinary records must show that all vaccines are up to date. If patients can take care of the pet during the visit without staff assistance, the pet is welcome.
We have private and semi-private rooms.
Every room has its own bathroom.
