On June 10, 2025, the leadership committee of the 5th Annual Knox Rox Benefit Concert proudly presented the 2025 Knox Rox Impact Award to Knox PAWS, awarding the organization $5,000 in recognition of their inspiring work to enrich the lives of local seniors through pet companionship.
The check presentation was a heartfelt celebration of community, compassion, and the powerful connection between people and pets. Knox PAWS, a local nonprofit, helps match senior citizens with adoptable companion animals—offering both emotional support and renewed purpose to seniors in East Tennessee.
Monica Brown, Knox PAWS Manager, who accepted the award on behalf of Knox PAWS, expressed her appreciation, saying, “Thank you for thinking of us, thank you for what you all do and how that helps out our community.”
This year’s Impact Award reflects Knox Rox’s ongoing commitment to recognizing and uplifting organizations that strengthen East Tennessee through innovation, care, and service.
