Full-Time Employee Benefits
Health insurance: Hillcrest offers different health plans with tiers of coverage, including the employee, employee and spouse, employee and children or family coverage. Hillcrest shares a portion of the premium cost as a benefit to the covered employee.
Flexible spending plan: Through this cafeteria plan employees can elect to have deductions taken from their paychecks on a pre-tax basis and deposited into a Flexible Spending Account. Funds are reimbursed from this account by submitting receipts for eligible medical and child care expenses.
Life insurance: Hillcrest provides a $15,000 life insurance policy for each full-time employee. Additional life insurance is available annually at a discounted rate.
Paid time off: Paid time off is available for use and deposited to the employee's PTO bank each pay period following a three-month probationary period. Employees can request cash sell back of up to half of accrued PTO once per year.
Sick leave: Sick leave accrues from the first day of employment. Full time employees who have completed their probationary period will be paid for absences in accordance with established policies.
Rewards program: To enhance attendance and performance among CNA and nursing staff, Hillcrest offers salary increases to those who successfully meet attendance and skills criteria. This program is available to full and part time employees.
Direct Deposit: With Direct Deposit, employees enjoy the benefit of having their paychecks deposited directly into the banking institution of their choice.
403(b) plan: Hillcrest offers a 403(b) plan that employees may contribute to as a tax shelter vehicle.

Wellness benefit: Any employee who works out at a participating health club at least eight times in a calendar month will receive $10.


Part-Time Employee Benefits
Because part time employees are valued members of our professional care team, they qualify for our modified benefit package as follows:
Paid time off: Effective July 1, 2008 part time employees who work at least 24 hours per week will be eligible for paid time off.
Life insurance: Hillcrest will provide $15,000 of life insurance after five years of employmens.
Rewards program: To enhance attendance and performing among CNA and nursing staff, Hillcrest offers salary increases to those who successfully meet attendance and skills criteria. This program is available to full and part time employees.
